The Rototype CBD 2000 represents the evolutionary step forward from its predecessor, the CBD 1000, designed to meet the increasing demand for enhanced cheque printing and the integration of QR codes, a feature unavailable in the CBD 1000.

 

Featuring 3 x HP INKJET printheads strategically positioned within the machine, the CBD 2000 ensures excellent printing quality, facilitating the seamless inclusion of QR codes up to 1 inch in size.

 

Operating similarly to its predecessor, the CBD 2000 accommodates pre-templated cheque sheets for up to 1500, along with corresponding front covers, back covers, and re-order forms, all conveniently loaded into the key and lock compartment of the machine.

 

Enhanced double detection sensors guarantee the passage of only a single sheet for personalization at a time. The MICR impact head adds E13B or CMC7 MICR code lines to each page, with the reader verifying the MICR printing on each leaf.

 

Following MICR printing, cheques undergo personalized information addition such as branch routing code, branch name, cheque number, account number, IBAN number, and account title, tailored to the bank's specifications.

 

The collated cheques, along with the front cover, re-order form, and back cover, proceed to the stapling module capable of binding up to 50 leaves.

Ultimately, the cheque reaches the binding module where the final binding process is completed using self-adhesive tape. The cheque is then either presented to the operator for printing or deposited inside the machine for collection once all cheque book printing is finished.

 

The CBD 2000 offers versatility, easily adaptable to centralized, decentralized, or regionally centralized environments, depending on the bank's requirements, and seamlessly integrates with any core banking system.
